The Carbon Exploration Test Bed Process Work
Design project for fourth year MArch Architecture at the University of Greenwich. The Carbon Exploration Test Bed is researching and testing new technologies of capturing carbon by artificially constructing inhabitation in a forest setting. The project is situated in a 'test bed' compartment in the man-made Thetford Forest. The compartment will be testing different technologies, capturing and reusing carbon and helping to develop new breeds of trees to be more resistant and efficient, creating a hybrid forest of nature and technology.
